Jaymz (aka @tattoos.by.jaymz ) may have been tattooing for almost 24 years, but as the son of tattooist James Lavoie, you could say tattooing has been with him his whole life. Picking up a machine at an early age, Jaymz began his journey in Niagara Falls alongside his father, and later made the move to Fort McMurray where you can still find him today.
Born to be a tattooist, Jaymz is a jack-of-all trades and still enjoys shop life, and taking the occasional walk-in… But his large-scale, Full Colour and Black and Grey Realism is where he excels, and the convention hardware around his shop proves it.
I wish I could tell you what Jaymz gets up to outside the shop, but this dude just wanted to talk tattooing, and we can totally appreciate that.
