Black Gold: Preservative-Free Black Ink

Black Gold uses witch hazel, citrus peel extracts, and gamma irradiation instead of conventional preservatives. No parabens. Same carbon black pigment as the rest of the Panthera ink line, the difference is the preservation system. You get deep saturation without the chemical load. Tribal XXX: High-Pigment Fill Black

Tribal XXX is Panthera's darkest fill black. Highest pigment concentration in the standalone line. Built for blackwork, tribal-style fills, and heavy lining where extra darkness matters. It pushes through mags cleanly and heals as dark as it looks fresh. One pass does the work of two with thinner inks.

Greywash and Shading Inks

Panthera's greywash line covers portrait realism, Chicano shading, and fine-detail texture work. The Sumy pair (Light and Dark) dilutes itself through a tonal range without distilled water. The Ralf Nonnweiler series (Smooth Blending and Smooth Finish) steps down further for pores, wrinkles, and final-pass highlights. You get four tiers of grey from one brand.

Sumy Light and Dark Greywash

Light Sumy and Dark Sumy form a paired system. Lower pigment than the fill blacks. Designed to self-dilute through mid-tones and shadows without adding water. Dark Sumy handles the deeper values. Light Sumy covers the mid-range. Both heal smooth and stay neutral with no shift toward blue or brown over time.

Ralf Nonnweiler Smooth Series

Smooth Blending sits below Light Sumy in pigment load. Built for skin texture in portrait realism for pores, wrinkles, subtle transitions. Smooth Finish is lighter still. Final-pass saturation of the lightest areas so highlights don't heal back to bare skin. Nonnweiler designed both for hyperrealism work where dotwork and visible lines break the illusion.
