Eternal Ink Colours: Standard to Signature

Eternal Ink offers 300+ colours across core lines and artist collaborations. The Eternal Ink set of Standard Colours (E01–E67) covers your foundational palette, red, blue, green, magenta, orange, pink, brown, and gray in light, dark, and mid-tone shades. Every bottle ships from the same Brighton, Michigan facility where Terry Welker refined the production process in 1998. Batch consistency means the colour you dial in today performs the same in six months.

Popular Eternal Ink Sets for Artists

Sets simplify stocking. The 50-Colour Standard Set from Eternal Ink Canada includes the most-used shades from the core line, blacks, bright primaries, muted earth tones, and flesh tones. Signature artist sets like Myke Chambers (traditional Americana), Liz Cook (realism and portrait work), and Dan Henk's Zombie Colors (murky browns and muddy reds for horror) give you curated palettes tested in the chair. Motor City Colors pulls from Detroit muscle-car themes. Perfect Storm delivers weather-inspired mauves and dusty blues. Each set ships in 1 oz bottles.

Ink Colors Across the Spectrum

Eternal tattoo ink spans the full colour wheel. Standard line includes Electric Yellow, Light Magenta, Oranges (multiple shades), Purple Inks, and Seven Seas green. Muted Earth Tones (EM01–EM12) offer "dirty colours" for organic work. Vintage Ink delivers 14 heritage shades with no overlap to the standard catalog. Pink Eternal options range from soft flesh tones to Electric Raspberry. Inks Eternal produces are vegan-friendly and manufactured under MicroBio Consulting validation in a state-of-the-art clean-room facility opened in 2022.

What Eternal Ink Is Made Of

Eternal Ink contains distilled water, glycerin, witch hazel, isopropyl alcohol, and pigments. The company lists full ingredient disclosure per SDS documentation. Pigments vary by colour, for example, Pitch Black uses carbon black (PBk7), while bright reds use organic pigments like PR170. No animal-derived ingredients. Health Canada registered. Sterilized using gamma radiation and sealed in tamper-evident bottles.

Ink Eternal Artists Trust

Tattooers like Liz Cook, Mike DeVries, Mario Rosenau, and Myke Chambers collaborated directly on signature lines. Liz Cook developed the Eternal Ink Color Wheel System to help artists understand complementary pairings, Sage and Green Slime, Forest and Seven Seas, Jade and Dirty Money. Marshall Bennett's Gray Wash uses the Blackbird pigment from Motor City Colors, linking themed specialty sets back to Welker's original Detroit studio roots. Each artist set reflects working palettes refined over thousands of hours in the chair.

Standard Colors That Stay Consistent

The Standard Colours line holds 67 individual shades. You can order ½, 1, 2, or 4 oz bottles depending on usage. Maxx Black ships in sizes up to 8 oz for high-volume shops. Neutral Gray (NG20/40/60/80) offers opaque grays at fixed percentages of black for precise greywash control. Keep It Wet additive extends working time without shifting hue. Eternal Inks don't separate in the bottle, shake once and you're ready.

What Color Fades the Fastest in Tattoos

Light colors and pastels fade faster than dark, saturated ink. Yellows, light pinks, and whites show the most fading over time because they contain less pigment density. Eternal's brighter shades (Electric Yellow, Light Magenta) are formulated for initial saturation, but all light tones require touch-ups as skin regenerates. Black and dark blue hold longest. Healed photos tell the real story.

What Color Tattoo Ink Stays the Longest

Black ink stays longest. Carbon-based blacks like Eternal's Maxx Black and Pitch Black resist fading because the pigment particles are dense and stable under UV exposure. Dark blues, dark greens, and deep purples also hold well. Saturated reds (using PR170 or PR254 pigments) fade slower than oranges or light pinks. Skin type, sun exposure, and aftercare determine longevity more than ink alone.

Primary Colors of Eternal Ink

Eternal Ink's primary palette includes red (multiple shades from bright to dark), blue (ranging from Seven Seas to dark navy), and yellow (Electric Yellow, Banana, Lemon Drop). These primaries mix to create the full spectrum. The Standard Colours line organizes by hue family, so you can stock foundational pigments and build custom shades in-cup. Signature sets often pull from these primaries and add muted or shifted versions.

Eternal Ink Colours at Eikon

Eikon stocks Eternal Inks Standard Colours in the 50-Colour Set plus approximately 50 individual bottles. We carry signature sets from Liz Cook, Myke Chambers, Dan Henk, Perfect Storm, Motor City, Muted Earth Tones, Vintage Ink, and the M Series (Mike DeVries + Mario Rosenau). All bottles ship same-day across Canada when ordered before 1 PM ET. Health Canada registered. Gamma sterilized. Tamper-evident seals. No Nexus-owned tattoo supplies here, just trusted brands we'd use ourselves. Stock your palette with Eternal Inks colours and get back to the work that matters.
