JILLAINE BERGESON: ARTIST PICKS

Jillaine Bergeson is doing for "Great Outdoors" tattoos, what Saga did for space tattoos... Her vibrant, full-colour Realism pairs incredibly well with landscapes, the night sky, and nature in general. FUCK…Makes you want to drop everything and just go camping.

Now 8 years into life as a tattooist, this Alberta-raised farm girl has made her way to Kelowna, BC and @district.ink.kelowna, where she uses her love for the outdoors to inspire her work (and it shows).

Almost as great as her passion for nature, is her passion for cover-ups. Jillaine is always up for a challenge, and loves covering up those life mistakes we’ve all made at some point. This is why you’ll always find a box of Clear Cut Stencils on her station, because cover-ups are hard enough but placing your stencil shouldn't be.

Outside the shop, Jilllaine can often be found snowshoeing across some of the landscapes she recreates, tossing discs into metal baskets (aka disc/frisbee golf), or kicking back to her favourite records while sipping on a warm cup of matcha.
