Fusion Black Tattoo Ink - Fusion Black Tattoo Ink
Which Fusion black tattoo ink is for lining, packing and grey?
Line with one black, pack with another, and step your greys from the numbered cuts. Fusion makes a black for each of those jobs. The colours are on Fusion's full line.
Basic Black and Power Black
Basic Black is the thinner of the two Standard-line blacks, and the one to line with, since Fusion marks Power Black not for lining.
Power Black is the concentrated one. Fusion labels it a pure concentrate tone, not for lining; it is Fusion's packing black, dense and solid in the fill.
If you are choosing a lining black across all the brands we carry, start at black tattoo ink for lining.
The four Gradient blacks for grey
Fusion's Gradient System sells Black in four numbered cuts: Black Uncut at full strength, followed by #3, #2 and #1, each a step lighter with more white mixed in, and all four made in 1 oz. The grey washes we carry, all brands, are grouped in grey tattoo inks.
The Rick Walters Basic Black
The Rick Walters Signature Palette carries its own Basic Black, sold as a single, and it is not the Standard-line one; the palette is a posthumous American Traditional tribute to Walters.
If you buy Fusion boxed rather than as singles, the answer is at which Fusion set to start with. All the blacks we carry, from every brand, are in black tattoo ink.
About Fusion Ink
Jason Guy, a tattooist, and his family own and run Fusion, a US maker founded in 2009. Fusion publishes pigment CI numbers in its safety data sheet, carbon black among them, and Eikon carries the line in Canada. The rest of the range sits with Fusion's full range.
Fusion black and Health Canada
Eikon carries Fusion because it comes from a Health-Canada-notified brand, and we confirm that status before we bring in any ink. Notifying Health Canada is what makes an ink lawful to sell here; there is no government test an ink passes first.
Health Canada sets the impurity and microbial benchmarks — lead at or under 10 ppm, arsenic and cadmium 3, mercury 1, antimony 5, alongside the ISO 17516 microbial limits — and enforces them after an ink is on the market. Meeting them is the manufacturer's responsibility.
Ordering Fusion black from Eikon
Every Fusion bottle goes out individually sealed in its own bag, so a leak in transit costs one bottle instead of the order, and from November through March ink ships with free heat packs so nothing freezes on the way. Safety data sheets live on Fusion's own site, where they stay current.
Fusion ships from our shop in Kingston, Ontario. Order by 1 pm EST Monday to Friday and it leaves the same day, ground is free over $150, and UPS reaches Ontario and southern Quebec the next business day.
Like all tattoo ink at Eikon, Fusion is sold to verified professionals through a Pro Account.
Every ink we stock, brand by brand, is in tattoo ink.
