Fusion Tattoo Ink Sets for Working Artists

Fusion tattoo ink sets cover everything from broad working palettes to structured shading systems. The 60-colour set includes the full range, blacks, greys, flesh tones, mixing colours, and high-saturation Power series bottles. The 12-colour sample set gives you trial-size access to core colours at $221.25 CAD. Every bottle ships batch-numbered and vegan.

Fusion contains organic pigments suspended in a water-glycerin-IPA carrier for the main line. The newer Gradient System swaps glycerin and IPA for medical-grade ethanol and increases pigment load, MOCRA-compliant from formulation forward. Single bottles of Fusion ink in Canada run 2 oz at ~$33–35 CAD. Sets ship from Canadian stock with same-day processing.

Gradient System: Pre-Mixed Value Cuts

The Fusion Gradient System eliminates in-cap mixing. Each base colour ships as Uncut (100% saturation), plus #3 (75/25), #2 (50/50), and #1 (25/75) white-cut ratios. Eleven colour families, Black, Blue, Bright Red, Dark Red, Green-with-White, Green-with-Yellow, Magenta, Purple, Brown, Orange, Yellow, plus standalone Uncut White and Cut White for highlights and thinning.

Forty-two bottles total. You grab the pre-mixed value you need instead of eyeballing ratios mid-session. Reformulated with medical-grade ethanol, higher pigment concentration, and full MOCRA compliance. Individual Gradient SKUs available now; complete 42-set pricing available on request.

Signature Artist Color Sets

Fusion color sets include curated palettes from working artists. The Rick Walters 8-colour set ($168 CAD) covers American Traditional, Basic Black, Smokey Gray, Eagle Brown, Crimson Red, Blue Bird, Phthalo Green, Ole Yellow, True Purple. Walters ran Grimm's World Famous Tattoo on the Pike for 25 years; this is a posthumous tribute line preserving his working palette.

Ben Kaye's 10-colour range skews muted and portrait-friendly: Banoffee, Burnt Caramel, Dark Blue, Dark Matter, Dirty Orange, Honey Gold, Jade, Pearl, Rouge, Ruby Wine. Individual bottles available in 1 oz and 2 oz. Mike Cole, Roman Abrego, Juan Salgado, Deano Cook, Jeff Gogue, and Shige palettes stock as single bottles, full boxed sets available on the manufacturer side but not pre-packaged at Eikon.

Greywash and Flesh Tone Specialty Sets

The 5-colour Greywash Set runs Extra Light through Extra Dark in half-ounce, 1 oz, 2 oz, or 4 oz bottles (from $128 CAD). Fusion gives greywash its own top-level navigation, it's not buried in a general colour list. Consistent value steps, no guessing on dilution ratios.

The 5-colour Flesh Tone Set (from $88.25 CAD) includes Extra Light, Light, Medium, Dark, and Extra Dark, distinct SKUs from the Light/Dark/Foundation Flesh bottles inside the 60-colour collection. Available in 1 oz and 2 oz. Both specialty sets ship same-day from Kingston, Ontario.

How Fusion Ink Performs

Fusion sits mid-tier on price, upper-tier on saturation. A 2 oz Fusion bottle costs what a 1 oz bottle of comparable ink runs elsewhere. Colours pack in clean with good retention. The Gradient System's ethanol carrier flows smoother than the glycerin-IPA mix in the legacy line, less drag, faster saturation on packed colour.

Bottles ship batch-coded. Vegan formulation across all lines. Fusion contains organic pigments with no animal-derived ingredients. Shelf stability holds for 18–24 months unopened; once opened, use within 12 months for consistent performance. Store away from direct light and heat.

What You Get in the Box

The 60-colour set includes all core working colours, Power series high-saturation blacks and primaries, mixing colours for custom blends, and flesh tones. It's Eikon's largest single-purchase ink set at $1,085 CAD. You're not sorting through distributors trying to piece together a working palette, everything's in one box.

Smaller themed packs (Pastel, Opaque Grey, Opaque Blue, Muted, Power 5-packs) exist on the manufacturer side but aren't pre-stocked at Eikon. If you need a specific subset, single bottles fusion together into a custom order. Buy More Save More applies: 10% off when you grab 5+ boxes.

Fusion Color Credibility

Fusion was founded in 2009 by pigment chemist Adam Everett, who previously brought his signature recipe to Eternal Ink in 2004. Three major US ink brands trace back to one chemist. Everett sold his share in 2017 and launched Sacred Ink; Fusion continues under family ownership with the same formulation standards.

The brand actively signs working artists, 42 featured signature palettes as of 2026, including posthumous tributes and realism specialists. The Gradient System launched as Fusion's first MOCRA-aware product line, reformulated ahead of enforcement timelines. Canadian tattoo supplies don't get more accessible than same-day shipping from Kingston with real-human support in English and French.
